I.V. Safety Cuff is a Trademark of
Progressive Doctors, LLC

A. Position narrow end of I.V. Safety Cuff
towards the wrist.
B. Secure tongue-in-grove (allow enough room
for the pinky finger to fit between the
I.V. Safety Cuff and skin) and/or secure
with tape of choice.
Because of its trapezoid shape, the
I.V. Safety Cuff fits fairly snugly on the distal forearm area and will stay in place.

C. Slide Cuff as close to the hand as possible to mimic how far the cuff could move before securing an I.V. Line.
Secure the I.V. Line "safety-release-loop" to the I.V. Safety Cuff platform instead of bare skin.
The wider area may be used when the I.V. is placed in the elbow or forearm region.
D. This alternative view demonstrates that the narrow portion of the I.V. Safety Cuff may used as a platform also, usually when the I.V. is placed in the dorsum (back-side) of the hand.
